Description

Ireland's Just Transition Fund (2021-2027) has a budget of just under EUR 167 million. It aims to support around 500 local micro, small, and medium-sized businesses to boost economic diversification and job creation. Investments in research and development, particularly in the areas of green and circular economy, will include a new Centre of Excellence for pioneering research on sustainable land management.

The Eastern and Midland Regional Assembly is the main public authority responsible for the implementation of the JTF. More information can be found here.
