Description

The Planning and Priorities Coordination Division (PPCD) of the Ministry for European Affairs is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ERDF in Malta. It manages the Towards a smarter, well connected and resilient economy, a greener environment and an integrated society Programme whichaddresses key challenges by promoting a smarter, greener, and more inclusive society in Malta. It aims to support the economy through research and innovation, digitalisation, and business growth, focusing on strengthening R&I capacity and supporting SMEs. The programme invests in education, vocational training, and health infrastructures, with an emphasis on mental health. It also prioritizes Malta’s cultural heritage, and addresses territorial disparities in Gozo, supporting socio-economic development in disadvantaged areas through various projects.
