Description
The Executive Agency “Programme Education” is one of the public authorities responsible for the ESF+ implementation at national level in Bulgaria. It manages the Education Programme 2021-2027 which focuses on on supporting the following priorities linked to skills development:
- Improving the quality of education by modernising learning content, implementing the competence model and digital transformation in education;
- Improving the attractiveness, accessibility, quality and relevance of VET in relation to labour market needs and its link with specific territorial characteristics;
- Creating a skilled workforce fit for the digital and green economy, including through the qualification of teachers in higher education institutions.
The Education Program 2021-2027 will finance adult literacy courses, courses for learning content for different educational stages and degrees for people with low education or no education, in coordination with the Employment service and the Ministry of Labour.
