Description

The Southern & Eastern Regional Assembly is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ERDF in the Southern & Eastern Region region in Ireland and manages the Southern & Eastern Regional Operational Programme  (2021-2027). 

The programme is supported by a budget of just under EUR 664 million aims to contribute to a smarter Europe by enhancing research and innovation conditions. This will be achieved through strengthening of the connections between domestic SMEs and Technical Universities to ensure regional enterprises remain competitive and productive. The programme also focuses on creating a greener, low-carbon Europe by improving the energy efficiency of residential homes, targeting households at risk of energy poverty to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
