SPIRE-SAIS, the Skills Alliance for Industrial Symbiosis: A Cross-sectoral Blueprint for a Sustainable Process Industry, outlines a training framework for the upskilling and reskilling of the industrial symbiosis and energy efficiency industries. The report begins with an overview of the skills needed by the workforce, then matches these skills to existing online trainings or educational resources. The report also goes into the quality control of training courses and the strategy that will be used to keep the database of learning opportunities updated. The report includes an annex of good practices in upskilling and reskilling within the industrial symbiosis sector across the EU.
