Description

In the Council's first-ever Recommendation on the social economy, Member States are recommended to take measures in order to acknowledge and support the role of the social economy. This includes easing access to the labour market, especially for vulnerable or underrepresented groups, stimulating skills development, including skills needed for the digital and green transitions, and promoting social innovation and sustainable economic development. This publication can be used to gain insight on EU priorities for the social economy ecosystem in general, as well as on how it plans to support reskilling and upskilling within the sector.
