Description

Following the accentuation of automation during the COVID-19 crisis, concerns about AI and the technology’s potential impact on jobs has resurfaced. The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) conducted analysis on a large dataset of job advertisements to identify work activities that are associated with greater occupational risk. The analysis found that activities associated with greater automation risk (such as inspecting equipment or performing physical activities) are distinct from those that are associated with greater AI risk (such as thinking creatively or evaluating standards).
