In a strategic move to navigate the challenges of the ongoing digital transformation, MOT has officially joined the Pact for Skills.

MOT, consisting of Las Rozas de Madrid, Boadilla del Monte, and Majadahonda, is committed to leveraging technology to enhance the region's productivity and competitiveness.

Specifically, MOT aims to:

  • Promote STEM: To nurture STEM vocations from schools to higher education, MOT is delivering initiatives such as Smart Schools, Science Week, and the STEAM Congress. These are designed to seamlessly connect students with the labour market, ensuring a pipeline of skilled workers for the region's digital future.
  • Support entrepreneurs: MOT is actively fostering entrepreneurship in the digital realm by implementing support agendas and acceleration services. These provide training, mentoring, and incubation programs for individuals with innovative digital ideas, stimulating economic growth.
  • Address the skills gap: To bridge the skills gap in the local economy, MOT is launching -talent seeking initiatives, upskilling/reskilling bootcamps, and dedicated training cycles. These efforts focus on identifying and meeting evolving skills needs, ensuring a workforce -well-equipped for the demands of the digital era.
  • Track impact: A robust tracking mechanism will be implemented involving quantitative and qualitative indicators (including the number of partnership members, mapped agents, programme participants and inclusion metrics) to monitor the impact annually. This approach ensures the alignment of MOT's initiatives with the objectives of the Digital Training Plan and the Pact for Skills, contributing significantly to the region's digital and intelligent transformation.
