European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) - Greece (I)

One of the national Operational Programmes for ESF+ in Greece is the Human Resources Development Education and Lifelong Learning - GR - ESF+/YEI plan (Επιχειρησιακό Πρόγραμμα «Ανθρώπινο Δυναμικό & Κοινωνική Συνοχή 2021-2027».

This national Operational Programme has a budget of EUR 4.1 billion. The main funding priorities in the 2021-27 period are the following seven: 

1. Horizontal - Systemic Interventions
2. Employment and Labour Market
3. Education and Lifelong Learning
4. Social Innovation
5. Youth Employment
6. Food Aid and Material Deprivation
7. Technical Assistance

Priority 3 on Education will support actions relevant to upskilling and reskilling such as lifelong learning action,s using new technologies as well as skills-development actions in forward-looking fields such as sustainable development, blue economy, etc., with a budget of EUR 1.2 billion.
