Description

The Thuringian Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Women and Family (Division 34: Managing Authority ESF) is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ESF+ in the Thuringia/Thüringen region in Germany and manages the implementation of the Programme ESF Plus 2021 - 2027 Thuringia.

The Operational Programme focuses on specific objectives, such as improving access to employment and activation measures for all jobseekers; promoting equal access to quality and inclusive education and training, facilitating learning mobility, promoting lifelong learning, better anticipating changes and new skills requirements based on labour market needs, facilitating occupational transitions and promoting occupational mobility.

There are specific guidelines/programmes for the different priorities such as the ‘Skilled Workers and Further Training Guideline’ on granting funds for the promotion of lifelong learning, in particular flexible opportunities for further training and securing skilled workers.
