Description

The Ministry of European Investments and Projects is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ERDF in Romania. It manages the Interreg Programme VA Romania – Bulgaria which covers the following counties: Mehedinti, Dolj, Olt, Teleorman, Giurgiu, Calarasi, Constanta; Bulgaria-8 districte: Vidin, Vratsa, Montana, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Silistra, Dobrich. The programme aims to support the development of the Romanian-Bulgarian cross-border area, by improving accessibility, promoting institutional cooperation and protecting and developing regional assets. The funds are allocated in 6 areas (priority axes), including the following investment priorities relevant to upskilling and reskilling initiatives:

  • Priority axis 4: A qualified and inclusive region (total budget: 17,767,279 euros) promoting integration of cross-border labuor markets, including cross-border mobility, joint local employment initiatives, information and advisory services and joint training.
