Description

On 10 March 2020, the European Commission presented 'A New Industrial Strategy for Europe,' which was revised in May 2021 due to the changed circumstances following the COVID-19 crisis. It emphasizes that priority should be given to the sectors with the most important challenges in meeting climate and sustainability goals, including energy-intensive industries, while also referencing the important components of the European Skills Agenda and the Pact for Skills. This Communication can be used as a source of information on the EU priorities for industry, including existing initiatives and funding opportunities aimed at supporting the transition.
