Description

Based on industry consultations and research on the differences between hydrogen and more familiar hydrocarbons, Energy & Utility Skills published a skills matrix as part of the Hydrogen Competency Framework. The skills matrix specifies skills and competencies necessary for engineers to undertake work on hydrogen installation. It indicates the whether a given skill or competency requires awareness, comprehensive understanding, or practical demonstration, as well as whether it can be assessed through desktop exercises, interactive exercises, or must be physically demonstrated by the learner. Although developed in the UK, the findings from this report are likely to apply to similar contexts within the EU.
