Have your say! Consultation on Digital Europe (DIGITAL) Programme

Digital Europe Programme

On 27 June 2024, the European Commission launched a consultation period inviting stakeholders to participate in the interim evaluation of the Digital Europe (DIGITAL) funding programme. The Digital Europe Programme, with a budget exceeding €7.9 billion, aims to enhance digital technology access for businesses, citizens, and public administrations across the EU.

Your input will play a crucial role in shaping the programme's adaptation to current and future technological trends. We seek your feedback on the programme's objectives and its alignment with the digital transformation of businesses and public administration, its responsiveness to technological trends, and its synergy with other EU funding initiatives. The Commission aims to assess the initial results of DIGITAL, including the deployment of high-performance computers, launch of the European Digital Innovation Hubs network, set up of Testing and Experimentation Facilities for Artificial Intelligence, development of common European data spaces and training for advanced digital skills.

For further details on projects and data related to these areas and more, please refer to the DIGITAL dashboard's country and projects profiles

Who can participate?

The interim evaluation seeks diverse perspectives from small and medium-sized enterprises, non-governmental organisations, academia, social partners, public authorities, and other public and private entities, including citizens from EU Member States and associated countries.

How to submit your contribution?

To contribute to the interim evaluation of the DIGITAL programme, visit the DIGITAL interim evaluation page to provide feedback.

The consultation period concludes on 20 September 2024 (midnight Brussels time).

Following the conclusion of the consultation, the European Commission will publish a summary report based on its findings and the responses received through the 'Have Your Say' initiative.
