Description

Overview

Objectives

Through this call, the SocialTech4EU project will fund upskilling and reskilling activities within social enterprises on topics such as ICT, emerging technologies, open innovation, business administration, marketing and sales.

Activities/actions supported

The training services purchased with the financial support must be related to one or more of the following categories:

  • ICT (Information and Communications Technology) skills - basic and/or advanced.
  • Emerging technologies for the social economy.
  • Open innovation.
  • Business administration, marketing and sales.

Projects funded under this call will have the ability to apply for further financial support in future project phases (2023-2024), including awards on innovation and acceleration.

Anticipated outcomes

Funded projects will contribute to strengthening the EU’s social economy ecosystems, particularly their resilience and innovation capacity, competitiveness, and sustainability, as they adapt to the green and digital transitions.

Conditions

Overview of eligibility criteria

In order to be eligible, applicants must meet all the following requirements:

  • Be a legal entity.
  • Be a Social Enterprise or a start-up with a social mission or impact.
  • Be a start-up or SME
  • Establishing in one of the following countries: EU Member States, EEA countries and COSME associated countries.
  • Apply as an individual organisation
  • Not have a conflict of interest with SocialTech4EU project partners.

Overview of award criteria

All eligible applications will be reviewed against the following evaluation criteria:

  • Relevance (40 points): How relevant is the proposed training plan to the objectives/themes of the SocialTech4EU project and Call, as well as to the technological and digital development of the applicant organisation?
  • Quality (30 points): To what extent are the proposed training plan and expected results linked to the training needs of the applicant organisation? How clear, coherent and realistic is the plan? Is it consistent with the amount of the financial support (€3.000)?
  • Impact (30 points): To what extent is the training plan likely to have a tangible impact on the applicant organisation’s technological and digital development process?

Applicants must:

  • Attachethe following annexes to the application: registration act; Statute (if available); proof of registration as a Social Enterprise (if available); for start-ups with a social mission/impact, any document that can demonstrate their social mission/impact (e.g. certifications, registration to specific registries – see details in section “Eligible applicants”).
