Description
Overview
Objectives
The action aims to mobilise students, teachers and other actors from the schol ecosystem and to local community to co-design, co-develop and co-implement projects that contribute to expand the youth's ocean and water literacy. It also aims to support the accreditation of schools and their projects within the Network of European Blue Schools, and support educators in developing and utilising new and innovative teaching and learning resources based on Open Schooling methodologies. Lastly, the call aims to help achieve EU Mission Ocean objectives.
Activities/actions supported
The action will support 100 schools' projects for primary and secondary schools in pursuit of increasing ocean and water literacy, sustainability, and blue economy knowledge among students to mobilise them as agents of change and increa4e the accreditation of the Network of European Blue Schools. Actiites supported include workshops, meetings, trainings, exhibitions, conferences, meetntalks, competitions, virtual educational activities, field trips, local expeditions, and more.
Anticipated outcomes
The call aims to support and guide schools and students in developing successful Blue Skils Curricula and project implementation through a series of meetings and best practices from target areas including the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea, the Rhine River, the Danube River and the Mediterranean Sea. In turn, the call aims to empower young people to become agents of change.

Overview of eligibility criteria
To be elegible, applicants must be primary or secondary schools that is legally registered and established in the EU or Horizon Europe associated countries. Schools must be located in one out of five targeted regions of the SHORE Open Call (The Baltic Sea, the Black Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, the Rhine and the Danube River Area)
