Description

Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) is the strategic document that underpins the reform priorities and investment areas for the application of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism. 


The general objective of the NRRP is the development of Romania by carrying out essential programmes and projects, which support resilience, the level of preparedness for crisis situations, the ability to adapt and the potential for growth, through major reforms and key investments with funds allocated for Romania within the mechanism. Under Component 15, key areas of invesment include: Training of education professionals; Supporting educational units with a high risk of drop out; Integrated professional campuses; The transformation of agricultural high schools into professionalization centers; On-the-job training program for teaching staff in digital education; Practical workshops in vocational and technical education units; Online school: Development of assessment platform and content creation; Training for school inspectors.

The General Directorate of Road Recovery and Resilience Mechanism Management under the Ministry of European Investments and Projects  is the main public authority responsible for the implementation of the NRRP.
