Overview

Objectives

Cooperation Partnerships aim to increase quality in the practices of organisations and institutions involved, build capacity of organisations to work transnationally and across sectors, address common needs and priorities in the fields of education and training, and enable transformation and change that leads to improvements and new approaches.

Activities/actions supported

Partnerships must address at least one horizontal priority (inclusion and diversity, environmental sustainability, digital dimension, or participation and civic engagement) and/or at least one specific priority relevant to the field of education and training.

Anticipated outcomes

Cooperation Partnerships are expected to allow organisations to increase the quality and relevance of their activities, develop and reinforce their networks of partners, increase their capacity to operate jointly at transnational level, and boost internationalisation of their activities through exchanging or developing new practices and methods as well as sharing and confronting ideas.

Overview of eligibility criteria

Any participating organisation established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme can be the applicant/coordinator. This organisation applies on behalf of all participating organisations involved in the project. In order to be eligible, applicant organisations must have been legally established at least 2 years before the application deadline.  For Partnerships in the fields of education and training or youth submitted by European NGOs and managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) the applicant coordinator must be a European NGO active in the field of education and training or youth. The European body/secretariat of the European NGO applies on behalf of the European NGO.

Overview of award criteria

The award criteria are composed of (minimum threshold 70/100 points total and at least half of the maximum points in each of the categories): 

  • relevance (max. 25 points), 
  • quality of project design and implementation (max. 30 points),
  • quality of partnership and cooperation arrangements (max. 20 points), 
  • impact (max. 25 points).

Application procedures

For Partnerships in the fields of education and training or youth submitted by any organisation in these fields, with the exception of European NGOs, applications must be submitted:

  • to the Erasmus+ National Agency of the country in which the applicant organisation is established.
  • For Partnerships in the fields of education, training and youth submitted by European NGOs:
    to the European Education, Audiovisual and Cultural Executive Agency, via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal
