Description
Overview
Objectives
This action aims to support NARICs in implementing key EU and EHEA commitments in the area of recognition of the qualifications of third-country nationals. The objective of this call is to address the gaps identified in the Commission's report on the implementation of the 2018 Council Recommendation on automatic mutual recognition of higher education and upper secondary education and training qualifications and the outcomes of learning periods abroad.
Activities/actions supported
The activities that can be funded concern four types of projects:
- Transnational cooperation projects: Achieving fair and transparent recognition procedures, especially automatic recognition
- Capacity building of the centres of the NARIC Network
- Annual joint ENIC - NARIC network meetings: Hosting the annual joint ENIC - NARIC networks meeting in 2026 and 2027
- Technical Support Team: Technical support and assistance to the ENIC Bureau, the NARIC Advisory Board, to ELCORE and to the ENIC-NARIC Co-Secretariats
Anticipated outcomes
Projects funded under this call are expected to create more consistent implementation of automatic recognition of qualifications, improve links between quality assurance and recognition. Other expected impacts include better equipped NARICs for designing and applying automatic recognition practices, more effective use of digital technologies, improved cooperation between ENIC-NARIC centres and improved links and dialogue with policy-makers.

Conditions
Overview of eligibility criteria
Eligible applicants must be public or private legal entities representing the European Network of Information in the European Region (ENIC) or the National Academic Recognition Information Centres (NARIC) in EU member states and third countries associated with the programmme contributing to the promotion and implementation of fair, transparent or automatic recognition.
Overview of award criteria
The award criteria are as follows:
- Relevance (max score of 30)
- Quality - project design and implementation (max score of 20)
- Quality - partnership and cooperation arrangements (max score of 20)
- Impact (max score of 30).
The minimum overall pass score is 60 and the max is 100.

To submit an application please create a user account and register your organisation for the Submission System and submit the proposal via the Funding and Tenders website, on the webpage of the call - See link here.
You will then need to submit your proposal in three parts; Part A inclues administrative information about the applicant organisations, Part B covers the description of the action and part C contains additional project data. Templates can be found in the link to the call in the section below.
