Descripción
The Just Transition Fund is a key tool to support the Spanish territories most affected by the transition to climate neutrality and prevent the increase in regional disparities. Its main objective is to lighten the impact of the transition by financing the diversification and modernization of the local economy and mitigating the negative repercussions on employment. To achieve this goal, the Just Transition Fund supports investments in areas such as digital connectivity, clean energy technologies, emissions reduction, industrial zone regeneration, worker retraining and technical assistance.
The Third Vice Presidency and Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge is the main public authority responsible for the JTF. More information can be found here.
