Description

The JTF Ijmuiden aims to support actions under the following areas:

  • Renew and strengthen the regional economy with a focus on innovation for the benefit of a green steel industry and diversification of the economy);
  • Investments in technology, systems and infrastructure with a focus on diversification of the IJmond economy; 
  • Agile and resilient workforce with a focus on a transition to a future-proof labour market.

Concrete actions under area 3 include upgrading and retraining of employees and job seekers, lifelong learning and skills development, setting up 'skills labs' and test facilities at companies and actions that contribute to sustainable and inclusive employability, including job carving, job and coaching. support in work adaptations and other measures that enhance sustainable employability (think of activating employers to use everyone's talent).
