Overview

Objectives

The call aims to strengthen the capacity of workers' organisations to address, at EU/transnational level, challenges related to changes in employment and work and social dialogue.

Activities/actions supported

Actions that address the following themes can be funded through the call:

  • modernisation of the labour market, job creation and youth employment, employment in SMEs;
  • new forms of work, including platform work;
  • quality of work, anticipation, preparation and management of change and restructuring;
  • digitalisation of the economy and society (including artifical intelligence);
  • transition to a climate-neutral economy;
  • skills development including re- and upskilling; skills intelligence;
  • intra-EU labour mobility, migration; youth employment, health and safety at work, modernisation of social protection systems;
  • reconciliation of work and family life, gender equality, action in the field of anti-discrimination, healthier and longer working lives, active inclusion and decent work,
  • tackling the employment, social and economic consequences of the COVID-19 crisis and Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, and the particular role of workers’ organisations / social partners, in this respect.

Anticipated outcomes

Expected results of projects to be supported by this call include improved expertise for workers' representatives for participation in European social dialogue, better understanding of issues discussed in European social dialogue, sharing of ideas/experience on European social dialogue as well as improving the capacity of workers' organisations.

Conditions

Overview of eligibility criteria

To be eligible, applicants must: be legal entities (public or private bodies) established and registered in one of the eligible countries ( i.e.:EU Member State; non-EU countries (not for coordinator and single applicant); EU candidate countries). Applications by both single applicants and consortia are allowed. Single applicants must be social partner organisations representing workers at European level. In case of consortia, the coordinator must be a social partner organisation representing workers at European, national or regional level.

Overview of award criteria

The following award criteria are taken into account:

  • Relevance (30 points)
  • Quality: Project design and implementation (25 points); Project team and cooperation arrangements (25 points)
  • Impact (20 points)

Application procedures

In order to be considered, proposals must:

  • Be submitted electronically via the Funding & Tenders Portal using the forms provided.
  • Proposals must be complete and contain all parts and mandatory annexes and supporting documents.
