Description
The Governo Regional dos Açores is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ESF+ in the Açores region in Portugal and manages the Azores 2030 Programme. This programme has a total budget of around €1.1 billion financed by the ERDF and ESF+. It is especially focused on territorial policies, which are reinforced by the decentralisation process underway in mainland Portugal. It contributes to most of the strategic objectives, in particular the A Closer Portugal, A Greener Portugal, and A More Competitive Portugal.
