European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) - Germany (Schleswig-Holstein)

The Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Verkehr, Arbeit, Technologie und Tourismus des Landes Schleswig-Holstein is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ESF+ in the Schleswig-Holstein region in Germany and manages the Programme ESF Plus 2021 - 2027 Schleswig-Holstein.

The Operational Programme has five key goals:

1. To support companies in securing future employment, skilled workers and junior staff and to increase the quality of education and further training
2. To support further education participation and lifelong learning of employees against the background of growing and changing demands in working life
3. Increase the labour force participation of women
4. To bring groups of people who are disadvantaged in the labour market, including people with a migration background and to support their integration into employment
5. Improve the educational opportunities of young people and tap into their educational potential
