European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) - Germany (Saarland)

The Ministerium für Arbeit, Soziales, Frauen und Gesundheit Saarland is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ESF+ in the Saarland region in Germany and manages the implementation of the Programme ESF Plus 2021 - 2027 Saarland. The Operational Programme includes three key objectives:

1. Increasing the qualification of the labour force through further training and iincreasing skilled labour in SMEs
2. Increasing the employability and labour market integration of disadvantaged groups in the labour market, in particular the long-term unemployed and people with a migration background
3. Investing in education, training, vocational education and lifelong learning especially for young people transitioning from school to work
