Description

The Behörde für Arbeit, Gesundheit, Soziales, Familie und Integration is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ESF+ in the Hamburg region in Germany. and manages the implementation of the Programme ESF Plus 2021 - 2027 Hamburg.

The Operational Programme has six specific priorities:

  1. improving access to employment and activation measures for all jobseekers, especially young people, in particular through the implementation of the Youth Guarantee, for the long-term unemployed and groups at a disadvantage in the labour market, as well the inactive, as well as by promoting self-employment and the social economy
  2. promoting balanced participation in the labour market of women and men, equal working conditions and better reconciliation of work and private life, inter alia through access to affordable childcare and care services for dependent persons
  3. promoting the adaptation of the workforce, enterprises and entrepreneurs to change, promoting change, promoting active and healthy ageing and promoting a healthy and well-adapted working environment in which health risks are addressed
  4. promoting equal access to quality and inclusive education and training, including the relevant qualification, especially for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood care, general education and vocational education and training, to higher education and adult learning, and facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for people with disabilities
  5. promoting lifelong learning, in particular flexible opportunities for further education and retraining for all, taking into account entrepreneurial and digital skills, better anticipation of changes and new skills requirements based on the needs of the labour market facilitating career transitions and promoting occupational mobility
  6. promoting active inclusion with a view to improving equality of opportunity, non-discrimination and active participation and increasing employability, especially of disadvantaged groups
