Descripción
The Directorate General for European Funds, International Programs and Projects is one of the public authorities responsible for the ESF+ implementation at national level in Bulgaria. It manages the „Human resources development“ Programme 2021 - 2027 which supports the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR) in the three fields: “Equal opportunities access to the labour market”, “Fair working conditions” and “Social protection and inclusion” and its Action Plan.
The Programme aims to address the challenges of the green transition, diversification, digitalization and climate neutrality, modernization and increasing the competitiveness of the economy. To this end, the Programme includes the following priority interventions:
- Priority 1 - Promoting employment and skills development;
- Priority 2 - Social inclusion and equal opportunities;
- Priority 3 – Promotion of youth employment;
- Priority 4 – Social innovation
