Description

The Ministry of investment, regional development, and informatisation is the main public authority responsible for the implementation of ESF+ in Slovakia and manages the Programme Slovakia 2021-2027 (Program Slovensko 2021-2027). 

This Programme is a single national-level operational programme, that focuses on six key policy objectives: (1) Greener Slovakia, (2) A more connected Slovakia, (3) A more competitive and smarter Slovakia, (4) A more social and inclusive Slovakia, (5) Europe closer to citizens, and (6) Just Transition. The fourth pillar is particularly relevant for ESF+ activities including upskilling, reskilling and inclusive education. The total amount of resources from EU funds to the Programme Slovakia is EUR 12.594 billion, of which EUR 3.3 billion is dedicated to the fourth pillar - A more social and inclusive Slovakia.
