Description

The Ministry of European Investments and Projects is one of the public authorities responsible for the implementation of ESF in Romania and manages the Administrative Capacity Operational Programme. This Operational Programme promotes the creation of a modern public administration, capable of facilitating socio-economic development, through competitive public services, investments and quality regulations, thus contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy.

To be able to fulfill this role, the public administration needs competent and well-managed human resources, an efficient and transparent management of the use of resources, an appropriate institutional-administrative structure, as well as clear, simple and predictable operating procedures. Such an administration must be able to provide political decision-makers with the tools necessary to substantiate and implement public policies in the interest of citizens. The Operational Programme addresses all 8 development regions of Romania. Within the Program, the following types of beneficiaries will be able to obtain funding: central public authorities and institutions, autonomous administrative authorities, NGOs, social partners, accredited higher education and research institutions, the Romanian Academy, local public authorities and institutions at county level and municipalities, authorities and local public institutions ITI beneficiaries, the institutions of the judicial system.

Please note that this Operational Programme refers to the programming period 2014-2020, as the as the Operational Programme for 2021-2027 is not yet available.
