European Social Fund (ESF) - Romania (I)

The Ministry of European Investments and Projects is one of the public authorities responsible for the implementation of ESF in Romania and manages the Human Capital Operational Programme (Programul Operațional Capital Uman). This Operational Programme establishes the investment priorities, the specific objectives and the actions undertaken by Romania in the field of human resources, thus contributing to the achievement of the general objective of the European Structural and Investment Funds in Romania to reduce the economic and social development disparities between Romania and the EU Member States. The main priority axes include:

1. Jobs for young people initiative
2. Improving the situation of young NEETs
3. Jobs for all
4. Social inclusion and combating poverty
5. Community-led local development (DLRC)
6. Education and skills
7. Technical Assistance

Please note that this Operational Programme refers to the programming period 2014-2020, as the as the Operational Programme for 2021-2027 is not yet available.
