Description

The Provincie Noord-Brabant (Province of North Brabant) is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ERDF in the South Netherlands/Zuid-Nederland region in the Netherlands and manages the Programme ERDF 2021-2027 South Netherlands which aims to 1) Promote renewable energy sources and to develop smart energy systems, networks and storage at the local level (policy objective ‘a greener Europe); 2) to strengthen research and innovation capacity and the introduction of advanced technologies (policy objective ‘a smarter Europe). The Programme also aims to contribute to the innovative solutions for the five transitions energy, climate, raw materials, agriculture and food and health as defined in the Regional Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialisation for European Fund Programmes 2021 -2027.
