Description

Regione Liguria is the public authority responsible for the ERDF implementation in the Liguria region in Italy. It manages the regional ERDF Operational Programme 2021-2027, which includes the following priorities:

  • Relaunching the competitiveness of the Ligurian territorial system, strengthening research and innovation , based on the contents of the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) and in synergy with other international and European instruments (e.g. Horizon Europe and the UN Agenda 2030). This will include investing in developing skills for smart specialisation, industrial transition and entrepreneurship.
  • Promoting the transition towards a sustainability model in order to achieve the 2030 and 2050 climate objectives , also contributing to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Regional Sustainable Development Strategy.
  • Supporting the sustainable and integrated development of medium urban areas and inland areas in order to reduce the existing territorial and social gaps.
