Deskrizzjoni
The Ministry of Health is one of the public authorities responsible for the implementation of ERDF at the national level in Italy. It manges the implementation of the Operational Programme on Equity in Health 2021-2027 (PON Equita' in salute). The programme is aimed at seven Italian regions (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily) and includes the following areas of intervention:
- tackling health poverty
- promoting mental health
- ensuring gender equality is at the centre of care
- increased coverage of cancer screenings
