Description

Regione Basilicata is the public authority responsible for the ERDF implementation in the Basilicata region in Italy. It manages the ERDF Operational Program (OP) of the Basilicata Region 2014-2020, focusing on 8 intervention priorities (Axes):

  • RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION: develop the regional research system and the innovation capabilities of Lucanian enterprises, particularly in the following sectors: Aerospace; Automotive; bioeconomy; Power; Cultural and Creative Industry and Digital Agenda. This is to be done through investing in infrastructure and innovation.
  • DIGITAL AGENDA: tackling the digital divide, including by creating new services for citizens and businesses.
  • COMPETITIVENESS: helping businesses including by supporting  companies operating in the five specialization areas of the S3 regional strategy; providing support for the internationalization of Lucanian businesses and the creation of business networks operating in the sector of the promotion of integrated tourism products; supporting  third sector enterprises that develop public utility services;
  • ENERGY AND URBAN MOBILITY: making energy use more efficient in industrial areas, companies and public buildings, as well as expanding energy production from renewable sources and increasing sustainable mobility in urban areas.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND EFFICIENT USE OF RESOURCES: overcoming the structural and organizational gap on the integrated waste cycle.
  • TRANSPORT SYSTEMS AND NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURES: improving the regional railway network and the secondary and tertiary roads.
  • SOCIAL INCLUSION: providing better services to disadvantaged and economically fragile groups.
  • STRENGTHENING THE EDUCATION SYSTEM: tackling school dropout and promoting ''digital education''.

Please note that this Operational Programme refers to the programming period 2014-2020, as the as the Operational Programme for 2021-2027 are not yet available.
