Description

The Prime Minister’s Office (Deputy State Secretariat for Territorial Development Programmes) is one of the public authorities responsible for the implementation of ERDF in Hungary and manages the Digital Renewal Operational Programme Plus (Digitális Megújulás Operatív Program Plusz). 

The programme has a budget of EUR 1,872.5 million, of which more than half is directed towards the four least developed regions of the country. The programme focuses on four main priorities:

  1. More intelligent Hungary
  2. High-tech and green transition
  3. Connected Hungary
  4. Digital skills: this specifically addresses digital upskilling and reskilling, which is achieved through three main focus areas: developing the education and training system, developing the digital competence of citizens (including advanced IT skills), and access to digital services.
