Description

The Prime Minister’s Office (Deputy State Secretariat for Transport, Environmental and Energy Efficiency Development Programmes) is one of the public authorities responsible for the implementation of ERDF in the region in Hungary. It manages the Environment and Energy Efficiency Operational Programme Plus (Környezeti és Energiahatékonysági Operatív Program Plusz - KEHOP Plusz) which includes 5 priority interventions: (1) Water management and decreasing the risk of catastrophes; (2) Circular economy and sustainability; (3) Environmental and nature protection; (4) Renewable energy; (5) Just Transition Fund. The last one is Hungary's envelope from the Just Transition Fund. This OP does not contain clear references for funding up- and reskilling, but focuses on water management, environmental protection, energy efficiency, sustainability and the circular economy. It also plans to invest in awareness-raising in these policy areas.
