The Prime Minister’s Office (Deputy State Secretariat for the Implementation of Human Resources Development Programmes) is one of the public authorities responsible for the implementation of ERDF in Hungary. It manages the Human Resources Development Operational Programme Plus (Emberi Erőforrás Fejlesztési Operatív Program Plusz - EFOP Plusz) which includes 8 priority interventions: (1) Healthcare developments; (2) 21st century public education; (3) Teacher career model; (4) Developments in social inclusion; (5) Social developments; (6) Supporting people in need; (7) Developments related to family and youth policy; (8) Settlements catching up. Upskilling and reskilling appear explicitly in one of these priorities (“Healthcare developments”), with the target aimed specifically at improving human resources in healthcare, ensuring the availability of well-trained workers in the sector, among others through modernising the system of trainings and upskilling opportunities.
