The national operational programme (OP) "Competitiveness Entrepreneurship and Innovation" (Επιχειρησιακό Πρόγραμμα «Ανταγωνιστικότητα 2021-2027») has a budget of EUR 3.9 billion. The main pillars of the OP in the 2021-27 period are the following four: (1) Fostering Innovation, (2) Fostering Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness, (3) Improving Businesses' Access to Finance, and (4) Human Capital Development in the Context of Developmental Transformation. The latter pillar is particularly relevant for reskilling and upskilling as it will finance actions enhancing skills' that can help business adapt to new markets and sectors of high added-value.
