Description

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy of the State of Brandenburg is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ERDF in the Brandenburg region in Germany and manages the Programme of the State of Brandenburg for the European Regional Development Fund and for the Just Transition Fund (ERDF-/JTF-Programme BB 21|27).

The ERDF priority axes are: 1. innovation and competitiveness;  2. energy transition, climate change and resource efficiency; 3. sustainable urban mobility; 4. sustainable urban development. The state of Brandenburg was already categorised as a transition region in the expiring  funding period. This regional categorisation determines, among other things, the EU co-financing rates at the level of the priority axes. In Brandenburg, the share of EU co-financing amounts to up to 60% in the ERDF.
