Description

The Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Enterprises, European Structural Fund Promotion Division is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ERDF in the Berlin region in Germany and manages the Programme ERDF 2021–2027 Berlin. The Operational Programme The OP contributes to achieving the following policy objectives: 

  • "A smarter Europe by promoting innovative and smart economic change" through the development of research and innovation capacities and the introduction of advanced technologies as well as increasing the growth and competitiveness of SMEs.
  • "A greener, low-carbon Europe" by promoting energy efficiency measures, developing smart energy systems at local level, adaptation to climate change, reducing pollution and Promoting urban mobility. 
  • "A Europe closer to its citizens" by Promoting integrated social, economic and environmental development in urban areas.
