Description

The Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy is the public authority responsible for the implementation of ERDF+ in the Bavaria/Bayern region in Germany and manages the Programme ERDF 2021-2027 Bavaria. For the funding period 2021 - 2027, Bavaria has around 577 million euros available for the funding objective "Investments in employment and growth and 60 per cent of the funds are to flow into the area with a special need for action.

The new ERDF programme invests in equal living and working conditions throughout Bavaria and sets priorities in the areas of innovation, SME support, climate and environmental protection and for municipalities. The funding is distributed among the two priorities1) Innovation and competitiveness; 2) Climate and environmental protection. Under Priority 1, funding is provided for inter-company training centres to secure skilled labour for SMEs, specifically for the construction, modernisation and equipment of inter-company training centres to raise training performance to an improved level.
