Description

Overview

Objectives

The European Networks of Cultural and Creative Organisations initiative aims to bolster the capabilities of these sectors by supporting projects led by multi-country networks to address common challenges, foster talent, and contribute to innovation, prosperity, job creation, and economic growth.

Activities/actions supported

Directly relevant to Pact signatories, the proposals should include relevant activities aimed at strengthening the capabilities of organizations and professionals in the creative and cultural sectors, specifically tailored to effectively address the selected priorities of the call. These activities should encompass a well-balanced combination of networking, professional training or guidance, advocacy for sector interests on these matters, and the provision of policy analysis or development.

Activities must consider the requirements of network members and encourage their active involvement throughout the entire project. To enhance impact, proposals should also establish synergies and promote dialogue, collaboration, or exchanges, such as through joint activities with other networks.

Anticipated outcomes

The call will support approximately 30 networks’ projects covering the widest possible array of cultural and creative sectors. The expectation is that the chosen networks will collaboratively contribute to shaping cultural policies in Europe and generate the knowledge necessary for formulating and implementing effective cultural policies. Thus, the intention is to create a “network of networks” working together to shape Europe’s cultural and creative sectors.
