Description

This JRC report focuses on the two key questions:

  1. which type of gaps exist in relation to digital skills and
  2. which would be the priority target groups for policy action.

Through these questions, the research aims to support several of the latest Digital Decade targets on digital skills. The publication analyses the most recent data on digital skills and jobs from Eurostat, OECD and CEDEFOP. In doing so it makes an attempt to clarify the differences between the existing data sets (relative to different methodological approaches). At the end of the report, a set of policy design recommendations are provided.
