This edition of Cedefop's magazine for promoting learning for work contains two articles related to health. The first article, "EU health: investment needed for growing elderly population", highlights the trends in aging populations and investment in the health care sector by EU country and emphasises the need to equip countries with highly-trained healthcare professionals. The second article, "Upskilling key for EU health sector", is an interview with Commissioner for Health Stella Kyriakides where she highlights how the Covid-19 pandemic showed that the EU has the tools to support Member States in building sustainable healthcare systems, they just need to be used.
