Skills and quality job in construction

The report assesses the employment and skills needs in the EU construction sector to meet Green Deal targets, especially through the Renovation Wave. It estimates that 3.1–4.5 million workers need energy efficiency training, and over 9 million require basic climate and circular economy skills. With a large portion of the workforce nearing retirement, urgent investment in training, fair working conditions, and inclusive recruitment are essential.
