Promoting internationalisation of the social and solidarity economy: From local to global

The internationalisation of social and solidarity economy (SSE) provides opportunities to learn other ways of working, develop new skills and teach others as well. The focus of this paper is on the international expansion of SSE enterprises, which can be viewed as a highly valuable contribution to the overall upskilling of the sector. In particular, the paper analysis the added value internationalisation brings, the barriers to expansion and policy recommendations to support the international growth of the sector.
