Description

As part of the Apprenticeships Development for Universal Lifelong Learning and Training (ADULT) project led by the International Labour Organization (ILO), this thematic report investigates how digital technologies have impacted jobs. It covers how this impact changes across economies and sectors, as well as the importance of targeted education to address these changes. It then dives into the specific skill needs of digital and knowledge economies, including both technical and non-technical skills. It ends with a presentation on how apprenticeships can address these issues, as well as the key challenges they face in widespread adoption.
