Description
The MEGASKILLS project aimed to help bridge the critical gap between educational outcomes and the labour market’s demand for essential soft skills in the 21st century. The project leveraged innovative methodologies (e.g. gamified learning, AI, and psychophysiological metrics) to identify the most important soft skills for the 21st century and explore opportunities for their development through video games.
This policy brief outlines the project's main findings and recommendations to date for policymakers, educators and industry leaders, with a focus on higlighting the transformative potential of evidence-based approaches to soft skills training and underscoring the necessity of aligning educational frameworks with evolving workplace requirements.
