Description

This document explores the development of key-competence-based education. It is based on lessons learned from education reforms in Ukraine and Georgia. These two countries are aligning their education systems with European approaches to key competence development, while modernising their curricula and teaching practice to support students’ learning outcomes. With support from the European Union (EU) and in partnership with the European Training Foundation (ETF) and other agencies, they are embedding key competences in teaching and learning while tackling system-level challenges and barriers. This publication has been prepared within the framework of the ETF’s Creating New Learning initiative.
