Description

A systematic review of the literature on interventional approaches for refugees and asylum seekers was conducted in order to understand how the quality of primary health care is being improved for this demographic. Four categories of interventions were outlined, with one of these focusing on efforts to enhance the skills of primary health care workers. The discussion of these interventions can be useful to gain insights on existing training trends across the sector and how skills development can lead to better care for more vulnerable groups.
